"Immota manet" ("It remains immovable") is my hometown's motto. L'Aquila has survived many earthquakes. I hope it will survive this one too. But it will never be the same. It did not remain unmoved.
For those coming from outside, it is shaking again there, and many paople are afraid of sleeping home, just in case. I just cannot imagine how bad they feel, seeing how it makes me feel, thousand of km. safe away.
