I thought that in this journey towards (re)discovering my creativity, it could be good, every now and then, to recall to memory some of the many projects from the times when I was a little girl and was always making, building, crafting something, or trying to, or looking for someone who would teach me.
This is my first attempt, which also happens to be a last-minute submission to Illustration Friday.
Very cute! Sometimes the simplest equipment is the best!
ReplyDeleteVery nice use of your washes. The composition works really well anchored by the fountain drawing at the bottom. The whole thing establishes a nice before and after narrative without showing us every event. This seems simple, but it is hard to pull off. Excellent work!
ReplyDeleteI loved doing that as a kid!
ReplyDeleteI also loved raft making! And THAT fountain!! Thanks for the vivid memory.
ReplyDeleteOK, let's share childhood memories and raft making techniques! :)
ReplyDeleteLa fantasia e l'estro creativo dei bambini sono meravigliosi... e tu hai saputo ricreare questa magia nella tua illustrazione! Ciao!
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, nice to meet you! your drawings are so lovely - I wish you much goodness on your creative journey and look forward to seeing you in flying lessons!
ReplyDeleteÈ bellissimo, ma ovviamente la cosa migliore per me è la parte: two cousins and one sister.
