Let's get rid of labels

For Inspire Me Thursday: "Label"

...from my daughter (9). She painted this tree, a little batik made with the colors my sister brought her from Malaysia.

We painted together a couple of weeks ago to decorate a little corner of our home with the colours of autumn. It was a perfect moment, one of those I will treasure forever. My children, the trees, the bright autumn colors give me the strength I need in this difficult period.

Hi! Still experimenting with watercolor pencils. This drawing for Inspire Me Thursday ("Spain") was inspired by this portrait of Cristina Hoyos, the great flamenco dancer.

starting the journey

Here I am, with my first post and my first contribution to Inspire me Thursday. This is a difficult time in my life, full of darkness. I'm trying to get through it. After much resistance, I decided to follow my best friend's advice, and to start a blog. I am not an artist, nor a writer. I hope that a regular (?) commitment to a bit of creativity will help me embrace my tiger and return to my mountain. Wish me luck.
